End of April

As this month comes to an end we are going to continue to complete the lessons for April.
The following is a summary of what I am planning to do until the end of this month. Some of the lessons will carry over to the beginning of May.

8th grade: Continue to work on irregular verb Ser and Estar Verbs

7th grade: Continue lessons for possessive adjectives and occupations

6th grade: Continue to work formulating questions using the words How, When, Where, Why and What in the target language

5th grade: Students will review the basic questions that we have learned these two past years. The lesson for new food words and review words that they learned last year will be done at the beginning of May.

4th grade: Continue to learn the correct meaning and pronunciation of the words related to family members

3rd grade: Continue to learn and use the correct pronunciation in Spanish about command words such as corten – cut, cierren – close, peguen – paste, levantense – stand up, etc.

2nd grade: Continue to learn the days of the week using the correct progression. In Spanish’s calendars the first day of the week is Monday (Lunes).

April 's Additional Class Work

The following is a list of additional class work for the month of April.

5th grade – Memorize the words Norte, Sur, Este, Oeste, Derecha and Izquierda. Students will have an oral quiz Friday April 15th

6th grade – Review quiz - Oral - Days of the week, months and general expressions.

8th grade
– Test for Irregular Verb To Be – Ser and Estar Friday April 15

All the grades will continue to work on what I have posted at the beginning of the month Abril – April
